Dan Thompson - Director dant@mokita.co.uk

Dan has 15 years experience of running companies - from private start-ups to publicly quoted PLCs - and advising clients in the media and entertainment sectors. He founded 365 Corporation in 1997 and floated it on the London Stock Exchange in 1999. When he stood down as CEO in 2001 the group had 600 employees and annual turnover in excess of £50 million.

Prior to 365, he had been a founder (in 1990) and subsequently CEO (1992) of Renegade Software - a publisher of computer and console games. After successive years of revenue and profit growth he sold Renegade to Time Warner in 1994 and became Deputy Managing Director of Time Warner Interactive .

In 1986, Dan joined Sanctuary Music and provided business affairs and general financial and management advice to a number of clients including the Human League, Sam Fox and Rhythm King Records.

In 1988, he moved to Rhythm King Records as General Manager and Business Affairs Director and oversaw the company's business activities as it enjoyed huge success with S'Express, Bomb the Bass and Betty Boo.

In the 1990-92 period he also undertook a significant amount of client based work looking after the business interests of a number of producers, including William Orbit, and managing the successful multi- platform exploitation of the back catalogue rights of the Bitmap Brothers (then Europe's leading games developers). Dan graduated from Oxford University in 1982 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1985.

Dan is now a non-executive director and adviser to a number of companies in the media, technology and leisure sectors.
